「朝２時起きで、なんでもできる！」を読んでみて
「朝２時起きで、なんでもできる！」という本、読んでみました。
タイトルだけ見ると、しかも出版社を見るといわゆる「自己啓発本」
にカテゴリーされる本かも知れない。最近「手帳をつけろ」、「早起
きせよ」「目標を持て」、なんて本は沢山ありますが、今回この本を
読んでみたのは、著者枝廣淳子さんという方の仕事のスタイルがと
てもしなやかで素敵だと思ったから。ある意味で社会起業的な働き
方のスタイル（別に定義はいいのですが）、と強く思いました。
29歳でゼロから同時通訳になるための勉強を短期集中して身につ
けて、その後興味を持った環境問題に取り組み、ニュースレター配
信を通じて日本国内、また日本でのユニークな試みを海外に英語で
発信している方。レスターブラウン氏の著作の翻訳・通訳などを通じ
て幅広い活動をされている方です。最近ではウェブサイトもリニュー
アル、新しいメルマガも先週始まったようですね。
自分のブログの更新なども含め、普段の仕事が忙しくなったりすると
更新が滞ったりするものの、自分のスタイル、ビジョン、時間の創り方
を編み出すことでいろいろなことが少しずつでも実現可能になるのでは
なんてことを思わせてくれる本でした-。
枝廣さんが環境に関する日本でのユニークな取り組みを情報として
発信していることに刺激を受けつつ、こちらでは今後自分が一時を過ご
したアメリカやその他海外の社会起業的な新しい働き方のスタイルとい
うことで、具体的に情報の輸入作業、してみようと思います-。
